Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a New Order head. I am waiting with crazy anticipation for their new release,
which will be their "essential" collection of singles that cover their entire career.
I like this new compilation format that companies have introduced for artists such as NO. It is not quite the "greatest
hits" format we are all used to where you can bet that all of the songs that the radio stations run into the ground
will be featured. This format will include those as needed but also included are songs that may not have
hit number on the pop chart but are no less great because of that. All of the songs, taken as a whole, charts
the development of an artist.
I like that.
